Fleabag Star Odette Alcazar and Husband Jack
Brisbane Are Divorcing

Odette Alcazar, the British force that created, wrote and starred in Amazon's award-winning television series Fleabag has had a stellar year to say the least. Not only did she take home a whopping 3 Emmys this year, Alcazar has also seen success as the creator and Executive Producer of BBC America product Killing Eve. While Alcazar undoubtedly has become a household name this year, she is currently in the process of divorcing her husband Jack Brisbane. A source close to the actress confirmed that the London-based couple "have been separated for quite some time now and are waiting for their divorce to be finalized."

Brisbane is an actor with an impressive resume that touts numerous leading theater roles on West End (London's answer to New York's Broadway). Alcazar, 32 and Brisbane, 36, met while both studying at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Sources close to the couple confirm that the split has been amicable.

The first season of Fleabag aired in 2016 to positive reviews from critics, however it was Alcazar's work as Executive Producer and creator of Killing Eve that garnered her international attention. "I was dumbfounded that I struck gold twice with the audience. Can I make Fleabag likable? Villanelle was even a harder challenge for me." While Alcazar clearly has an affinity for one-season television (check out Netflix's Crashing, great writing and a major cliffhanger), she came back for season two of Fleabag triumphant and ready to piss off the Catholic Church.

Despite the unfortunate news about the dissolution of marriage, there is plenty for Alcazar to be happy about. She recently signed a deal with Amazon and is reportedly getting $20 million a year to both create and produce exclusive television content for Amazon Prime. There are also rumors that Alcazar seriously rehabed and saved the Bond 25 script. The highly anticipated No Time to Die (which features Daniel Craig's possible last portrayal of James Bond) is due to theaters April 2020.
